The US paid teenagers to try and establish a social media platform in Cuba for the purpose of destabilizing their government. The rest of the world would do well to ban any US social media to be honest.
I’m not even doing a whataboutism here. The amount of data TikTok collects is ridiculous, but so is the amount of data collected by the US companies. And in the latter case, they have far more power to do damage to foreign nations and their own citizens with that data. They’ve done it already. Congress doesn’t care about that though.

No way, only China and Russia (THE BAD GUYS) spy while the US is innocent and unaware of even how to spy because it’s the GOOD GUY.
