The Biden administration: this is bad, but there’s nothing we can do. Now go vote for us, because if Trump was President, we’d have American soldiers doing the killing.

So they’re affiliated with the government, not necessarily Hamas.
India well on its descent into a failed state with their rapes and lynchings.
Look at what it’s being used for. It is impossible to be handled properly if you’re using it in brake pads.
The tech will get better if we were really interested in it. Remember, the automotive industry attempted to kill the EV in the 1990s and nearly succeeded. They only changed their tune when they realized they had to adapt or die.
Aren’t the police typically not affiliated with any party?
This only goes to show how powerful lobbyists are in the US. If a known carcinogen can take this long to be banned, imagine how fucked we are if we’re going to try to shift away from fossil fuels and such.
And now much has pay gone up?
Can’t wait for things to go back to normal and where Palestinians are treated like shit by the racist Israelis.
They will claim that he was either Hamas or that he didn’t condemn Hamas.
Now now, as we’re constantly reminded, the alternative is worse. So status quo it is.
Exactly. Oregon remains next to last in terms of availability of drug treatment.
People cite the Portuguese example of how decriminalization of drugs resulted in an overall reduction of addiction, etc., but fail to include how the Portuguese expanded drug rehabilitation services for its citizens.
Remember that Hamas and Fatah were opposing parties in the Palestinian political landscape. When Hamas won the election in 2005, it was very clear who the West preferred. Fatah criticizing Hamas is nothing new, and in fact is in line with what to expect, given western support is conditional on them condemning Hamas.
Imagine being so against peace that you refuse to negotiate unless the other party drops their demands for a permanent ceasefire.
This means that Israel reserves the right to attack Palestinians whenever they feel like.
You’re not wrong.
Burning oil to prevent people from burning fossil fuels is certainly a take.
Carbon is carbon. Burning crude oil puts carbon in the air just like burning petroleum does. The difference is now you’ve driven energy costs up while wasting the resource.
Edited to add: so if Saddam burning oil fields in Kuwait was bad, are we also going to admit that Ukraine burning oil refineries in Russia is also bad? Or is it only bad when our enemies do it?
Oh so what you’re saying is that the US burning Iraqi oil fields in the Gulf war(s) was for environmental reasons.
That’s really progressive.
Please explain how burning a refinery reduces burning?
Have you condemned Azov like the Russians want you to?
There was a video showing ballot stuffing in Russia’s election.
This Republican move seems to be an effort to emulate that election.
