Maybe they are Chinese?
Forget your phone, no books. Guess I am reading the chemical composition of air freshener today…
Good point. Americans are conditioned to think all Chinese stuff is cheap crap, when in reality it’s because we moved manufacturing over there so we could make cheap crap. It’s not that they can’t make quality, we’re just not paying for quality.
I noticed that as well. Every once in a while there will be a link to something interesting om Twitter, but you only get basically a screenshot. If you try and do any other viewing you immediately get pushed for sign in.
Can someone explain how this fucking works? DWAC market cap is 1.37B, Truth Social has apparently never made money… How does them merging add like 6+ Billion market cap? Am I crazy or has the world gone nuts?
Such an amazing bar too lol
Wait, what’s the math? At this point that may be way more useful to understand.
Lmao. I actually got tricked into doing arithmetic for a second there.
Irradiation during CPR course sounds brutal. Were you guys constantly under an x-ray?
(Those are some huge ass lungs, I don’t think I am strong enough)
This question always trips me up because life is random. A human would probably win against a rat 99.9% of the time. But there is that scenario where the rat happens to bite in just the right spot and you bleed out. Same thing would happen in the inverse. Would a human beat a wolf, improbable. But there is that scenario where the wolf gets its neck too close to a human who goes primal and bites down and rips out as much as possible.
Myself? Maybe a dog if it was never trained to fight or defend.
Non-coastal new England is pretty safe. No earthquakes, few hurricane effects, almost no tornadoes, tends to stay damp enough and has enough old deciduous growth, where forest fires aren’t a big issue.
I am sure there are other places that are low risk as well.
I too am pessimistic. I am not a lawyer, but every legal analysis I have read paints this situation as pretty bad for him financially. Maybe he gets bond before they start liquidating, but from everything I read he is extremely unlikely to win out in the appeal process. Best likely outcome from him is Putin somehow gives him a half billion dollar loan and it doesn’t somehow run afoul of sanction and finance law. Or it does run afoul, but it’s a criminal thing and he has been able to dodge criminal cases like Neo from the Matrix.
Nothing. Up until Monday that is explicitly an option for him, and what the courts probably expected to happen.
After Monday it’s too late.
I think what they are afraid of is that he secures a bond and then doesn’t properly notify anyone. So then they liquidate his assets and he goes “Whoa I have bond! Look at what you just did to me! So illegal, no other person has been treated so unfairly by the courts!”… I think that’s the scenario they are trying to avoid.
Tie it to the exact current cost to remove the same pollution from the environment… right now that might be more than 100x… fuel tax
The monitor isn’t preventing him from posting bond, they are simply saying if he somehow comes up with bond he must immediately inform the monitor so they don’t accidentally start liquidating his properties.
As I understand it, Trumps business shenanigans are so sketch that they wanted this monitor to make sure he isn’t shuffling around money to game collection.
It’s also not what the revolutionaries need. A revolution in America would need to target power actors (owner class, politicians would just get you more politicians paid for by the same billionaires), precisely and relatively quickly.
Bombs and heavy or indiscriminate weapons would only harm that cause by turning the people against you. Honestly small fire arms and poisons would probably be the most effective weapon in a revolution that could actually lead to any real change.
Molasses holocaust, long game. Not genocide, if it’s comparatively slow to the genocide that happened to us!
