  • Burned all of my rope with the battle.net “2.0” complete with Facebook integration, rmah, “get the game for free with a years subscription to world of Warcraft” and killing deckard Cain in act 2 of D3 (along with ACT 1 being the only ACT with any love put into it, and that being the entirety of the demo, also pretty clear that’s when Activision bought blizzard)

Never played any of the sc2 expansions, never watched another blizzard tournament, never bought a wow expansion (after TBC), I lost a lot of really great memory associations, but the nostalgia isn’t worth supporting the corpse-puppet of blizzard.

Maybe diary a bit, logging different aspects consistently for a couple weeks, and keeping a sleep log in the morning to see how well you did, if you continue to insomnia without correlation to anyone you’re tracking in your diary, change what you log.

I suggest food, social contacts, feelings during commute, future scheduling, hobby tracking.

You might not come up with the exact stressor at first, but if you find a pattern in something you’re tracking you may be able to determine what’s causing the pattern and be able to take corrective action.

If nothing else journaling can be fun!

  • Did 3 years in an RV, would not recommend. But beats the hell out of the month in a tent, and most anything beats sleeping in the 2 door car, there was no getting comfy in that things. The car wasn’t comfy, the tent was kinda comfy but very humid, the trailer/RV was powered, so less humidity problems, but after a while it’s nice to not deal with black water and the limited size (we were in a 27 footer, larger than our apartment kitchen, but not by much)
