Symbolic AI? Pretty sure a combo of that and ML would be needed. Pure ML is too unreliable and have limited coherence, and nobody knows how to program useful symbolic AI from scratch. But if you combine them they can cover each other’s weak spots.

I remember when Google started running classifiers backwards for the first time to produce the very first generation of generative ML. Very small crowd following it closely.

Natanael@slrpnk.nettopolitics @lemmy.world•Mar-a-Lago Judge: Jury Sees Top Secret Files or Trump Wins11·1 year agoHe didn’t choose most of these documents because of their contents, just because they’re classified to satisfy his power trip, so all the jury needs to know is that they’re genuine government documents which are classified which he didn’t have the right to take.
If this case had involved what he did with information in it then sure, but it ISN’T

The only way to appeal from the prosecution when they didn’t win is if it’s a hung trial / mistrial or equivalent error and there wasn’t a ruling of innocence.
(under US law, plenty of other countries have some ability to appeal if they believe there was some serious error or new evidence has been found)

They could start flagging random shit indirectly associated with gender like relative timing between jobs or rate of promotions, etc, and you wouldn’t even notice it’s doing it
