I think it’s a double whammy because it’s also almost the reverse of Yuzu (Zuyu, Suyu). Pretty clever name (and also a very bold choice. I wish them luck)

Same. I somehow sidestepped that entire region of YouTube.
That’s not the point I’m making. You might be right, but it’s all theoretical. It could just as easily stagnate and become a dead end. There’s really no way to know until it’s been tried. I’m just reacting to this technology as it currently stands, and you’ll note I did say it was exciting to see as well.
You could, but it will never lead to anything. It’s guaranteed to be fluff. It may not even make sense or feel like a good payoff because it’s just generated. No one wrote it with any intention. See what I’m saying?
As exciting as this stuff is, I don’t get how it could ever lead to anything interesting. Seems like an endless stream of tell-don’t-show and fluff to me.
Yeah mine too. I’m in my thirties 😏
So excited for this one. I grew up watching my dad play this game.
What about the roads away from Rome?
It would be nice if they could someday find a better way to enforce this. What if your kid has shared custody with their other parent, and they aren’t in the same household all the time? What if they’re studying abroad and aren’t even in the same country?
I don’t have the solution, but I do hope someone eventually finds a better way to do it.
It’s all crypto games, isn’t it?
Too techy for me unfortunately. That’s why I’m looking for something that doesn’t have ads natively.
Do Chromecasts not have ads? I’ve never used one.
Taiwan has created so many incredible foods and drinks I gotta say.
I agree with everything you said except that the fees need to be that high. That is not mutually exclusive with anything else you said.
I mean there still is stuff like that all over the place, probably more than ever, it’s just harder to find because the SEO drowns it out.
As petulant and annoying as tim Sweeney can be, I do think he’s right that valve’s fees are pretty exorbitant at their level of success. They could take a much smaller cut and still be making bank.
Game: “there are way too many of them! We have to sneak around!” Me: “let’s test if that’s actually true”
I can’t say I’m a fan of this trend of mods making their titles sound like an expansion or sequel. Not trying to shit on the effort put into them, but it’s a bit deceptive.
How can birds get drunk if they aren’t real?
I hope some smaller games can take the lessons of content density and meaningful decision making from BG3 more than anything else. The incredible conversation cutscenes are super cool, but definitely where a lot of budget went, and I think you could make a really great rpg with a similar feeling of depth without that costly element.
