My opinion is that if you can comfortably pay your bills and have a steady job, you’ve “made it” as far as the saying goes. But there’s always more “up,” so the faking it never really stops.

If there’s any character that wouldn’t give a shit about gender roles, it’s the Joker.
I got a letter from a company a while ago (I honestly can’t remember who), that was telling me my “rights” as to how my data was used. They said I cannot rescind their right to sell my data to their 362 partners!
What the actual fuck.
Both. Economies suffer when the populations cannot replenish workforces and when average age gets older and older.
You end up with too many people to support and not enough people to do the work.
BMWs open nostril design is really the worst aesthetic I think I’ve ever seen in a car.
I will never buy another Samsung anything ever again. Their hardware is fine, but they’re so bad at software. I had a Samsung TV until recently that was just unbelievably slow to turn on, switch inputs, and move through settings on.
Samsung is crap overall.
The Bloomin Onion is one of god’s gifts to modern man.
Or maybe Satan’s because I definitely regret eating it every time. But I always want more.
If you’re in the US, vote for Biden or Trump is going to direct all of that to stop.
I hate you for this
You say that, but vehicle and collision sensors on mirrors are legitimately an amazing safety feature that should be standard on all models. Those sensors have personally saved me a couple times when someone comes up next to me when I’m trying to change lanes.
Yeah but my loans weren’t canceled!!! /s
Legitimately the argument that came out of my mother’s mouth.
I don’t understand the selfishness of not wanting loans cancelled for people. That money just ends up back in the economy because it’s no longer going straight to the banks.
Really all they have are “whataboutisms.” They did this with Obama when criticizing Trump, they’re doing it with Biden, they did it with Hillary.
They never address the problems of their party, it’s always about what the other guy is doing, which is usually entirely made up.
Marketing and reality are two different things. It’s definitely not a superior experience. When Apple’s stuff stops working, and it frequently does, the user has zero control to fix anything. Instead, they’re shoehorned into having no recourse other than to use Apple’s support, making them entirely dependent on the company in order to use their device.
Apple purposely hamstrings the user experience to exert control over users.
So that satanic cabal of Democrats the QNuts scream about is actually a cabal of conservatives.
The call is coming from inside the house!
Kroger has barely embraced self-checkout lanes. The one near me only just recently decided to put a couple in.
It’s so easy to forget Luna exists. I feel like 1) it’s just not advertised anywhere, and 2) that nobody talks about it.
Do people even use it? I can’t imagine it’s going to last all that long if even Google can’t make it work.
People who don’t understand that the left lane is for passing and that you need to move over when you’re not passing.
It’s so frustrating to be driving behind someone who is going the same speed as the person next to them on a two-lane road.
That’s the website, but it’s not rendering for me for some reason.
Here’s a PocketCast link:
The podcast goes much more in depth than Oliver did. But they’re both good content.
I see you’re from Germany (or at least on a German instance). Is the four-day work week becoming common there and throughout Europe?
As I live in the US, I’ll probably die before something like that is implemented here.
