At speed is when you would need the active breaking…
And great now my car stopped in the parking lot from every speed bump…,
Can you provide a usecase where active breaking from a drop would actually help?
You hit a pot hole on the highway and now you’re stopping in the middle of it.
That’s why they don’t exist on vehicles, there’s lots of cases where they drop and still need to keep moving, while only a couple where it should stop, and in those cases it’s usually too late and won’t help.
A lot of smoke came up from the wildfires in the USA too.
There’s a difference between patent trolling and protecting their patents.
Provided Nokia just won a case, it’s extremely doubtful they would fall into the “troll” catagory.
Why do you think they’ve become a disgrace?
They can make a contract with you to use your works in their IP.
No, that violates the fair use act, and is the entire point, you can’t commercialize and profit from other people’s work. A contract would literally mean you’ve commercialized it, and have violated the fair use act…. It can’t happen, it’s literally why corps are doing this, and getting away with it.
It sucks, argue that it shouldn’t be that way, but it’s reality, sorry.
But how can they make a contract? Signing it would violate fair use exemption before that could be argued.
Corps are abusing a conflict within the laws, it’s not even a loophole, it’s just the unfortunate way the laws that protect each person/industry don’t agree.
But the rub is, under fair use you can’t profit from it though, so as soon as you accept payment, now they can sue you. So in the end, they win and get it for free regardless.
Sounds like it, not a lawyer, but if you’re wasting peoples time and money, yeah there will most likely be a way for them to get back at you.
Their lawyers tie you up with a lot of legal fees trying to get you to defend it, if you don’t they take you to court for a frivolous suit.
Either way they win and you lose, even if you’re right.
I don’t see it playing out positive unfortunately.
They only have a finite supply of units, all the others need to do is hold out, not gonna be able to afford more if you’re trying to undercut everyone else either.
This makes it stricter than hotels, cameras were only allowed in common areas before (hallways, living room) so same as hotels. They changed it to remove these ones.
On one hand, it also adding jobs for other people. Is it 1:1 hard to say, but atleast unlike the built sets that are garbage or costly to store, the content can be stored and reused relatively easily.
That’s the plumbers, electrical, boilers, elevator, carpentry, lathing, scaffolding, HVAC, refrigeration trades/unions at least.
Schooling is done and provided by the union and not secondary institutes, so they control everyone who goes through their system. In the vast majority of them, you won’t even get in unless you know someone.
You must not actually know anyone in a trade, or you know just the few people in trades that aren’t heavily unionized that aren’t like this.
It’s an extremely well known and common issue.
That’s US trades in a nutshell due to unions.
Nah in a lot of cases the guy doing the bare minimum also makes more than you.
Wasn’t Nvidia the one that was caught intentionally doing things to break games on competitors drivers with their sponsored games?
Earned isn’t the right word when you have to do shitty things and cut your competition down…
There’s a Reddit post too on the game subreddit about some people getting something going on the weekends.
Cheers mate.
