I learnt so much about markdown from using Obsidian and I must say for fairly straight forward note taking its amazing, I even love the idea of how images are included into a document. It really does make me question why we believe we need all the extra BS that’s comes in MS word.

The older I get the more I realise how much I didn’t actually know about the world in my early 20’s, yet when you hit like 21-22 you kind of think you’ve got things figured out. I’m sure I’ll think the same when I’m in my 40’s

I reckon SP2 was peak Windows. At the time, even as Windows 7 came about, IT people would always say how rock solid XP SP2 was, excellent driver support, ran everything you wanted at the time and rarely had issues.

I feel especially as a teen, I was so enamored with the allure of the Aero theme which was in Vista and eventually 7 that I was quick to dismiss XP.

Hind sight is 20/20, now I just run Linux because Windows is not what it used to be, now its a bloated monster.

Can we also stop normalizing grass too? Such a fucking pointless resource which needs constant watering, fertilizing and cutting
