Could you be so kind as to provide more information, especially concerning that 85% reduction in payments. The white house when introducing the new plan estimated a top reduction of 83% in payments if you managed to make the stars align for the maximum benefit. I am interested on how its going for an average person because people I know with loans have only had complaints and no reductions or relief.

I was promised sweeping changes and got more of the same except with trumpets (press releases), the emperor has no clothes.

My issue is that these are years overdue, how does this man have a press conference every month about student loans, and every time its loans that would have been cancelled without him or should have been cancelled years ago. Which begs the next question, is it a win that it took three years in office to fix this? And next month when a new student loan press release comes out, what will be different?

Only transcription, it outputs to a few formats that amount to plain text with or without time coding including srt subtitles. It transcribes really well, one bit of note is that sometimes with more technical discussions I find better results using the smaller models. My best theory is the technical words are less likely to be assumed to be an accent/variation.

Not sure if you have tried/heard of Whisper. It automatically transcribes audio, I use it for meetings/lectures that don’t come with Closed Captioning, it supports audio/video files and a few languages. I had tried a few solutions with mixed results (e.g. Google is slow, many places limit lengths/sizes), IBM is supposed to be the best free/low cost cloud model but they would never approve my accounts. In the end locally with whisper in an Anaconda/Python environment was best cheap option for me.

I think its funny they’ve copied Fedex with their main routes being in-house and their last-mile being “independent” contractors (Fedex Ground / Amazon Flex), and now Fedex will copy them with their upcoming FDX platform, which I believe is supposed to be an upgrade to shoprunner that will continue to sell from other Vendors but more like how amazon and walmart do it, where its a footnote on the item details.
