No. It’s because you guys are wrong. Nuclear is more expensive than the others only if the others get subsidies but Nuclear doesn’t.

In Canada, Québec is 100% hydro, Ontario is 75% nuclear (the rest is hydro). Yet both provinces have some of the cheapest kWh rates in the western world.

  • You mention gym and running. Both are super demanding imo. Have you tried swimming or bicycling at your own pace yet? Especially bicycling should be much more relaxing if you have the environment to do it, since you focus on the places you go as opposed to the performance.

Edit: I have a similar, albeit not as strong experience with the gym and running. I even hired a personal trainer to help me, but just felt like pressure all around and unpleasant pain instead of the good kind of soreness. Same with running that can impact your legs/knees a lot. Swimming at your own pace, without setting lofty time-based goals, has probably the least impact on the body.

  • It’s about the audacity to even state that last question.

I’m in a similar boat as that guy, I rent out my apartment while living on the other side of the pond. My only reason for not selling but renting it instead is that I was born into that apartment and plan on living there when senescence starts taking a grip on my body. I basically rent it out long term for utilities+upkeep cost and haven’t raised rent in five years despite some crazy inflation going on in the country.

But never even thought of asking this shit ass stupid question. Sure, not everyone is meant to own property, especially seeing the sorry state the cleanliness of my apartment is in between the renters the last eight years. But I’m not delusional to think that there was no privilege involved in me owning that apartment. Unlike what that piece of shit posits.
