Item #: SCP-███
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-███ is to be contained within a secure research facility located in ████████ National Park. Access points to SCP-███ are to be monitored, and unauthorized entry is prohibited. Exploration of SCP-███ is restricted to Level 3 personnel or higher, equipped with GPS tracking devices and standard exploration gear. Psychological evaluation is mandatory for all personnel before and after exploration.
Description: SCP-███ is a cave located within ████████ National Park, with an entrance disguised as a natural rock formation. The interior of SCP-███ exhibits anomalous properties, including the presence of a WiFi network with fluctuating signal strength.
The WiFi network is broadcasting from within the cave and has no identifiable source. The signal strength increases the further one ventures into the cave, peaking at approximately 200 meters below the surface. GPS devices and compasses can malfunction within SCP-███, and individuals may experience disorientation and temporal distortion.
SCP-███ was discovered by a hiker (Subject-███-Alpha) who became lost approximately 1 hour after entering the cave. The Subject utilized a smartphone equipped with a signal strength tracking application to navigate SCP-███. They failed to return, prompting Foundation intervention.
Efforts to locate Subject-███-Alpha within SCP-███ have been unsuccessful. Further exploration and research into SCP-███ are ongoing to understand its anomalous properties and potential hazards.
I would buy it if it wasn’t cleaned ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
But the companies running these softwares now make a huge profit, while the restaurants and delivery drivers earn less. So it’s better this way for their billionaire investors

Consolidation/merger is almost always about keeping or increasing revenues, while cutting costs (incl. layoffs). It’s the “have your cake and eat it too” of corporate strategy.
From the consumer’s point of view, there is usually less competition later, meaning prices often increase or quality drops.
For employees of that industry, less options to find other jobs.
I worked on a giant merger few years ago, left before the closing. Talking to colleagues, everything is more chaotic now, multiple leadership and direction changes, quality issues, more customer complaints.
This is of course just my experience, but there is a lot of data how most mergers lack to deliver the long-term value that was expected of them: https://www.mckinsey.com/capabilities/people-and-organizational-performance/our-insights/a-mckinsey-perspective-on-creating-transformational-value-from-mergers
My conclusion after a decade in management and consulting roles is that big mergers should be much more regulated, and very rarely allowed.
MS is making a strong push in AI business, e.g. I was told their salespeople are highly incentivized to sell copilot products, and not much else. At a big company that is strategic partner & key account (etc.) for MS, we are looking at MS Dynamics implementation for CRM, and they barely answered our emails, while on a copilot related project they are throwing people at us.
They are betting they can make a lot of money from it if they capture and monetize the corporate AI market early (whatever that might actually be), the demand / customer need is definitely not high currently.
