Good for you dude! Slap that Futher-mucker. I’m tired of all this anti-abortion nonsense, meanwhile the same people are squeeling like stuck pigs over embryos being people, well if they are, then shouldn’t that mean you WANT more IVF treatments? Wouldn’t that mean you want more babies to be implanted, not LESS? There is no logic to any of their reasoning.

  • Still - I wish I had a room full of gold coins so I could build a diving board right over it and dive into it, and break most my bones and teeth when I land and, like Peter Griffin, I realize it’s a great pile of solid metal not a soft liquid. I’d laugh while my teeth fell out. That would be so hilarious!

  • Especially now with newspapers reporting that Taylor Swift is seen as a ‘danger to Republican norms’ (per USA TODAY copy, Feb 2 - 4), this is an especially dangerous position to put her in. Republicans are starting to claim she is swaying the country away from their “values” (whatever those might be) and they are looking at her as an enemy of our country.

So the person doing this might have innocent motives, but it could lead to horribly disastrous results, and he could also be jailed for doing this. So I’m glad she’s taking some legal action up front if only to protect herself and show that she is unwilling to be made a victim of other people’s nutjob bigotry.

  • Part of it is timing and the market also – back in the day my parents and grandparents had a “stock market” meeting where they’d decide what companies to put their money into - they went with IBM and a little known publishing firm called “Marvel.” Both were fledgling organizations back then.

So, now I’m in my parents’ estate and I was able to retire early (really I didn’t need to work, but I liked my job) and I see how high home prices are for the U.S. now and wonder how new families are ever going to be able to continue to live and find housing in this country.
