Wanted to make sure he didn’t blink and ruin the photo. This really puts the size into perspective.
I don’t actual remember it blinking at all. I’m sure it did though. They’ve got that bonus eyelid though that you can see in today’s post in the one pic.
The nictitating membrane is the clear eyelid that lets animals with one still mostly see while keeping their eyes moist and clean. I was glad that got caught in a photo.
