call of duty warzone. I was a professional hater until recently, those steam reviews being mostly negative really put me off from trying it. now me and my friends play it every day.

this might sound like a joke but this is pretty true. my anger issues were also the peak of me being known as a basket case by everyone I knew, i was so openly depressed back then. but once everything resolved, I felt a lot better and to this day even though I can be stoic at times I’ve not quite felt depressed like I used to severely be. yes I can be sad sometimes but it’s nothing like the disdain I felt for years.
I’m honestly surprised so many people are for it. I detest tiktok, but what precedent does it set when we start restricting the freedom to access the open internet just like those so-called adversary countries do. If it gets removed from the app stores and that’s it, then yeah whatever I guess. but if we end up like China and post 2022 Russia where we are blocking connection access to a worldwide foreign service entirely only because we don’t like not being in control of the data, then we’ve already lost as the public. Combine this with the potentialities of project 2025 or whatever and then look at that, now we’re the exact same as them.
If the government were doing this for anything other than a power move with theatrics, Instagram and Twitter etc would be cracked down hard too.
I have iOS 15.4 and I have a default browser that isn’t Safari. This is more in reference to a new popup on first time bootup that asks you to pick a browser. You could pick a default one before this, you just had to go download it first like on a computer.
honestly it’s replaced reddit for me in a good way, because it has just enough new content that I can check it before bed every day and scroll for a bit, but not enough to where I spend entire lunch breaks on it. sometimes I go days without even checking it. if anything it’s made my relationship with my browser / phone healthier than reddit.
it’s more like relief, I get home and I instantly drop into bed all comfy knowing I’ll be snoozing late tomorrow.
