If you wanted justice you would recognize the apartheid, that Israel was founded on ethnic cleansing that has escalated to genocide, advocate for a permanent ceasefire, and a solution to the conflict where both Israelis and Palestinians have equal rights.

The US has veto’d the last three calling for a permanent ceasefire and release of hostages, similar to how Israel has rejected every permanent ceasefire and hostage release deal Hamas has called for for months.

Israel continues to prioritize the extended bombing and famine in Gaza over getting the hostages released.

I think it’s because (in America) we learn about the early setters in a good light (and completely ignore or whitewash as much of the native genocide and Chattel Slavery) in our history books. We may learn the big strokes like the trail of tears and the underground railroad, but most of the atrocities aren’t even discussed. Maybe in a college class if you made it in a good college with progressive teachers.

Palestinians are normal people that want to live a normal life, which is impossible under the daily violence Israel uses to maintain the apartheid. Israel has always bombed Palestinians in gaza, both during the wars they regularly wage on Gaza and during times of relative peace.
