She’s one of the few who actually put the “billionaires should be free to donate how they choose!” thing up in good faith, it seems. I’ll reserve some skepticism, but as far as the mega wealthy go, she seems to actually be doing okay.

While I agree with tackling one problem at a time, there’s no issues with listing all of them. Then, when you tackle one, you get to mark it off.
Ah, a deposit. That makes sense, so it’ll never happen here jn the states lol.

This is easy enough to test. Take a tire and fill it. Test the pressure. Let it sit outside overnight on a cold night and test it again. The pressure will be lower.
Consider this, as well: yes, it’s about differential pressure, but it’s also volumes. “Pressure” is the outward force from all of the molecules in the air bouncing around in a space. As temperature increases, those molecules move faster and bounce more. Since pressure is just us measuring that bouncing, increased temperature increases pressure.
Why doesn’t the atmosphere increasing in temp balance it out? Size. The tire is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. This means each individual molecule only has to go a little bit before it’s hitting another wall. Compared to outside the tire, those same molecules bounce off everything, some ricocheting into the tire, and others in whatever random other direction. The change in movement speed of the particles may be the same, but the change in how frequently they’re smashing into the tire is different, thus different pressures.
They taste more mineral water than seltzer water to me. Much more similar to a Perrier than a LaCroix. To me, at least, this means they taste fine cold, but start to go off pretty quick as it heats up and flattens. So, they have the same problem I have with Perrier, in that they’re in larger containers and thus more prone to getting warm before you finish it.
You make significant changes by implementing smaller parts over time. The important bit is they’re not drinking alcohol. They can break the association down the line. You should focus more on you and worry less about what others should do :D
What bougie venue you been to that uses anything more fancy than a clear solo cup? Every concert I’ve been to in the last… 5 years at LEAST has been either a plastic bottle with the cap removed, a clear plastic cup, or a liquid death.
It’s bubbly.
It applies here, too lmao. There are always a few bag holders in denial in each lemmy thread about star citizen.
There wouldn’t be all the crevices we have now, though. Plus, I feel like a soft surface would hold on to scraps less tightly. Hell, you’d probably be fine using just mouthwash.
It is really easy to map onto human feel though. 0-100 pretty accurately maps onto our minimum and maximum realistically survivable temps, long-term, and the middle temperatures of those are the most comfortable. It’s far more round, when it comes to describing human preference and survivability, than Celsius is.
Touch screens are great in cars! For one purpose. The navigation. The touchscreen should only display navigation and function as a keyboard to search it, and only while the car is stationary. Everything else should have a physical control, at bare minimum as “backup”
