Hopefully it happens before Trump can cash in on his Truth Social deal

I wonder what would happen if Putin straight up offered to cover his debts? I expect Trump would actually accept that offer and his idiot base would see nothing wrong with it if he did.

I expect their logic is their review “curation” racket is a sideshow and the real money is selling information to agencies and sales companies.

I’ve never seen much reason to use a real name on Glassdoor. They demand visitors sign up to see information, and every logon it demands more details. So I am glad I used a throwaway account and I expect many others did too, or filled it in with junk. I hope their database is poisoned with garbage. I’m sure they will continue to turn the screws - using a mobile device? You MUST use our app etc. I hope people realise that LinkedIn already sucks and here is something even worse moving into the same space.

From the article that they acquired a professional social networking app so their intention is clearly to be like LinkedIn - real names, links, career history, “social”. They want to monetize that information to sell to recruiters and salesmen.

So basically they’re nakedly greedy and they continue to suck. I thought LinkedIn was awful but Glassdoor is a whole new level of awful.

Glassdoor is little more than a shakedown service like Yelp or Tripadvisor. It looks superficially useful but the real purpose is to suck information out of users to monetize, and extort businesses for $$$ for review “curation”.

I’ve seen enough body cam incidents to know the papers can say one thing and events revealed later by the footage depict another. General police guidance of use of lethal force is when there is an imminent danger to safety so it boils down to whether the kid charged a cop or a member of his family or not.

Failing to vaccinate a kid (unless there are legit medical reasons) should be a chargeable offence in the same way that letting them sit in the backseat of a car without a booster / seatbelt is. These parents, as stupid and credulous as they are, have endangered their kids and some of them might suffer life altering injuries or death from that.

Federal institutions have a national menu that they’re meant to provide. I’ve linked to it elsewhere and if inmates don’t receive it then there are avenues to complain through. And to be clear I’m sure even in the best of circumstances the food still sucks, but there is a menu and there is choice. It is also VERY clearly spelt out in the MDC Brooklyn inmate’s handbook on page 13 what the food is and an inmate’s options regarding it and any religious / dietician exemptions.

IMO this is SBF being a precious entitled asshole in prison thinking he’s above the conditions that everyone else in there is subject to. “Oh look at poor me I have to eat bread water and peanut butter”. Meanwhile reality says he’s lying. This is merely the latest incident of him attempting to control the narrative. He can’t tamper with witness so he’s holding a pity party and we’re supposed to care.

I don’t believe his choices are THAT limited. Most prisons will have a self-service line with a choice of boiled veg, rice, beans, potatoes, pasta, fruit, grits, oats. Also, and just generally, boo hoo for him. Funny how his ethics extend to what he eats, but not who he steals from.
