I think it was basically a bunch of photos stitched together, probably because they couldn’t get all the kids to smile at the same time.

She had surgery about 6 months ago and hasn’t been seen in public since. Conspiracy theories started spreading about why she hadn’t been seen in ages, so a week ago or so they released a very Photoshopped photo of her and her kids that was so bad it had to be retracted and fuelled the conspiracy theory stuff even more.
And now I guess finally they’re admitting it’s cancer. They could’ve handled this whole thing a lot better.
You can still condemn it even if you don’t know exactly who’s behind it.
This would have the opposite effect for Ukraine. It would cause Russians to actually rally around the flag and be more pro war. The Ukrainian strategy has been to just kill Russian combatants and hope they kill enough that Russians themselves start protesting the war on the home front.
Because the LASD is a corrupt organisation and their funding is used to buy shiny toys for the cops.
Huge innovation by Stephen Elop.
Thing is, if a patent applies to Reddit, there’s a chance it applies to Lemmy or other boards as well. Unless it’s very specific to Reddit alone, this is probably not a good thing.
It’s probably going to be one of those things where he keeps insisting that whatever property comes with the Trump brand, despite this adding negative value.
Yeah, there’s totally no risk with this strategy and I can’t think of any time this went horribly wrong in the past.
Probably got bought by a private equity firm trying to squeeze the last bits of profit out of it before offloading it to some sucker. I’m sure that one year they jacked up rent looked really good on paper until those shops had taken the time to figure out their next move.
Yeah, you could keep some of the mall stuff and have at least a supermarket there, but people would still need stuff that a mall typically won’t offer, and people need to get to their jobs as well, unless they all happen to work at that mall.
Most malls are in very inconvenient locations if you don’t have a car, tho. Unless you plan on providing every conceivable service right there and/or add reliable public transport links, it’s probably not the way to go.
You’d basically be building a bunch of apartment blocks near a highway interchange.
You could just raise your employees’ wages if you’re ever at risk of becoming a millionaire.
So they could essentially make the mall business model work by not charging ridiculous rents? Maybe it’s just greed that killed malls to begin with.
You don’t want to play Mafia Wars with your manager?
If you allow updates you risk it updating to a version of the software that stops functioning when disconnected. If it’s functional it’s just better to block internet access altogether.
He’s so poor he doesn’t even have a bank account! And I guess share a pornhub account with his son.
No, the relevant agencies (I think FDA?) control how drugs are scheduled, so essentially it’s just a case of that agency making the change. I don’t even think the President needs to be involved in that.
Wasn’t it well into the 90s even?
