While I’m unfamiliar with your condition, it seems simple magic tricks, like having a playing card appear in your hand from thin air (when it was actually just well hidden) and making it disappear again.

294·2 years agothis makes me suspect even more it has been incited by russia as a distraction. i mean the situation was messed up in israel/palestine for like 80 years, but suddenly when russia has problems invading a country, it escalates. coincidence? i doubt it.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Does everyone buy little things here and there so as to not go insane?
5·2 years agoI don’t buy things just for buyings sake, but things I actually enjoy. Look, we can all die at any moment. There can be an accident or so. It’s important to enjoy life. If you just save all your money and don’t enjoy some of it and you die unexpectedly, saving it was a huge waste. You would have held back for nothing.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Are social media sites evaluated way higher than they should be due to rampant bot usage?
4·2 years agoit depends on who evaluates them. some people will do it right and only look at their capital and how much money goes in and out.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How ofter do you get physical with your coworkers?
21·2 years agoOne coworker poked me violently with his finger once. I told him, if he did that again I would mess him up. It never happened again. (I changed company after about one year for different reasons tho.)
I’ve also had coworkers pat my back and female coworkers touch my arm or sit in my lap, which is okay for me if done in kindness. It’s not okay for everyone, but women seem to know when it’s okay.

News@lemmy.world•James Webb telescope confirms there is something seriously wrong with our understanding of the universe
409·2 years agoyeah, but it’s always a shitshow when someone brings alternate theories to the big bang. it’s almost like back in those days when they burned people for suggesting the earth may be slightly less flat than expected.
😄 It’s significant for when to show you more balls related ads on the big screen of the smart TV 😆

You gotta tell them to go out and get more fresh air. It’s unhealthy to watch too much TV. It’s the same thing they told us when we were kids. It’s time to play that Uno reverse.
