But PayPal keeps rejecting my card after I confirm 3D secure in my banking app with “Your bank couldn’t verify your card…”. I tried guest payment option under “PayPal” payment which did briefly show up even for my region. “To complete this purchase, use another way to pay or check this account at the card issuer before retrying it.”
So I contacted Discogs support, described my issue, and whoever at their ZenDesk just copy-pasted the answer to where the checkout button is. I responded with a screenshot of the error, and got no response.
Just to make sure it’s not on my side, I tried donating some money to Linux Mint, also via PayPal. Guess what, that worked

It’s been 2 days now, and I am still unable to pay. So instead of some nice little thing, it’s just yet another issue.
It’s not the first time though. I am done with Discogs. Even some sellers are now leaving due to excessive fees and lack of support. For me it’s their shitty decision to rely on PayPal.

It’s just number 1, nobody will notice it. At 3AM I still have to catch extra 6 hours of sleep in less than 1 hour.

So my bank has this AI chatbot. I tried asking it if my bank still offers Visa gift cards which they did in the past. It couldn’t get my question right, after I said “no” to the question if it’s answer was right it hang for a few seconds and proceed to ask me to clarify my question, I just funnily responded with :q!. After all, it’s just AI.
Then suddenly I got “bank agent joined the chat”. I didn’t realize there could be a person over there. Let alone at 11:50PM.
I wonder how many times when I started spamming a useless AI chatbot of some company there was an actual human seeing that.

Actually just now I was playing around with Wireguard settings for an hour. Changing each setting to see if something would maybe help, searching forums, thinking about just giving up. Nothing worked.

My carrier has some contract with another carrier (with faster network speeds) only for extending coverage, not load balancing. In the end their towers get me 30-50Mbps while my carrier’s only 0.5-3Mbps.
My carrier only has towers in 1800MHz band, so that’s a way to tell I am connected to the other carrier. (It signs in natively now so it’s not possible to select that carrier manually like in the past)
To connect to it, my phone needs to loose signal on my carrier. Originally I just let it do that while travelling by bus and then staying on VPN 24/7 (TCP) as it wouldn’t kill existing connections to switch bands.
I was thinking about another wild way to fix this - 1800MHz band jammer. But that would be illegal.
Yesterday however I realized what kind of a dumbass I am. It only needs to loose signal for like 15 seconds. Faraday cage.
And indeed, I tried putting it into microwave oven (TURNED OFF) for a few seconds, and TaDa! 2100MHz. 0.8Mbps -> 35Mbps.

I am scared of the Plasma 6 upgrade. I currently have oxygen theme with a bunch of stuff like lamp minimizing effect, fall apart effect when closing windows, wobbly windows when moving or resizing them, animated rainbow mouse pointer (XP style). Also the loading mouse icon when opening programs is the programs icon jumping up and down.
I am not sure all of it will work on Plasma 6.
