Meh… Rogue One is only a masterpiece when compared to the other Disney SW movies. Compared to all movies, it’s … pretty good, but “masterpiece” is a big stretch.
I’d argue that every single star wars movie has been cheap or just decent enough compared to some of their shows and animated series. Honestly, the best works were probably season 1 of Mandalorian, Ahsoka, Andor and Rogue One.
Sure, we have rose colored sunglasses when we look back to the OG trilogy, but their better works weren’t part of the mainline trilogies.

Yea the other content definitely beats the movirs. Even a good few games are quite excellent.
Rogue One is mid. I wouldn’t walk out but also, it’s not one I’d have paid to see in the theater in the first place.
Not really, I loved the original trilogy that Rogue One dumps all over.
