The report shows the most common causes of infant deaths in Florida in 2022. They include congenital malformations such as spina bifida and neural tube defects; unintentional injuries like drowning or suffocation; disorders related to preterm birth or low birthweight; maternal complications of pregnancy; complications of placenta, cord and membrane; bacterial sepsis, an infection often contracted during labor; and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, the death of a baby younger than 1 without a known cause.

lack of prenatal care and abortion are a huge part of it. you reap what you sow

And the brain drain of a lot of Obstetricians and Pediatricians leaving the state due to the abortion ban.

Why would you keep your practice/business open if you can be sued for doing your job and have the weight of law against you.

They don’t care. They don’t see the mothers who have to endure a life without the one they gave birth to. The people making the decisions don’t have to live with those decisions. They are the same type of people who are mad at decisions made without their input - yet they disregard the input of others. The people behind this law better hope Hell doesn’t exist because otherwise they would be bathing in fire.
