Vote early and vote often.
Water, cbg, a little caffeine, aleve, gentle exercise like a walk, try to nap in a dark quiet room, prescription meds.
But i don’t see corporate accounts here posting ads like they do on Facebook, etc.
So anyone with a meta account could post ads that float through to here?
What city are you in? Do you actually see those issues in your day to day life? I’m not discounting how terrible Abbott is at all! And yes, he’s definitely trying to make things worse, but we have plenty of people (44% in 2022) who disagree with him. I live in Dallas and work in public education with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. My husband works in Ft. Worth, where it’s considerably more conservative, and his company is very invested in DEI. Yes, there are difficult places and situations, but it’s really not the shitshow you see on tv. Gerrymandering has given us a government that’s not representative of our population. Extremes make the news.
And maybe schedule their hearings in the city or state where they live or virtually instead of dropping them in one city and scheduling them somewhere completely different?
And discussing with your friends which side is better. I listened to dark side of the moon and Sgt pepper and aerosmith greatest hits and a dozen other cassettes so many times!! Then when you hear a song on the radio you expect to hear the next song follow it.
When we got CDs at home in college, my friend still all had cassettes in their cars.
People can be dumb as fuck and still have street smarts that let them get away with shit. There are a billion idiots out there working the system, most are just on a much smaller scale.
I think they meant other types of barriers.
When people come in they use an app and get on a list for an appointment to hear their case months/years in the future. One of my school kids (with pretty severe physical disabilities) came into Texas with parents and grandparents. They found a house to rent and signed a lease, with no idea when or where they might get an appointment. The house burned down and they lost everything. People at school donated clothes and furniture and lots of things to help them get set up again. 6 months later they got notice that their appointment was scheduled in New York. They packed the kid’s wheelchair and everything else they could carry into 2 mini vans and moved to New York with no support. It’s a system that sets people up for failure.
The good side of an album.
Housing/retail neighborhood with doors to the outside and resident community areas inside.
Filmed in Woodstock, IL.
Election is far away. Also, polls suck - remember when they told us Hillary would win?
This was a terrible, terrible article. Was it originally written in another language and then translated? It’s so bad!
Ask it the other way, too. What’s the smallest European city Americans can name?
How old is this crowd? No one knows Luckenbach?
I started saving grounds because i heard they were a mosquito repellent. When mine molded i threw them away. Good job learning the better way!
