A suspect staged a brazen attack to break a prison inmate out of a Boise hospital overnight, shooting and seriously wounding two Idaho corrections officers, police said. A third was also shot and wounded when arriving police mistook the officer for the suspect and opened fire.

One officer was in critical but stable condition, another has serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the third was not seriously injured when mistakenly shot by an arriving Boise police officer, the city said in a statement.

GD, gotta love that PID on shooting your own thinking he’s the bad guy. And everyone wonders how an actual active shooter situation would be if they jumped up as the ‘good guy with the gun’ and intervened. Yeah, you’ll get your ass shot by the police too, especially if they shoot their own uniformed team members.

So because the police are criminally incompetent, they should be the only ones with guns?

Jump down whatever hole you want to, I’m not making any additional claim nor feeding the trolls here. My very singular statement was clear.

Cops: “We gotta have all these machine guns and switchblades and shit because there are dangerous criminals with guns out there!!!”

Yeah, half of them are standing behind you and wearing the same shirt.

I believe the leftist argument you’re up against is that no one should have guns, including the police.

Implementing this is left as an exercise for the reader.

    These people are considered professionals.

Hey, bud. We all figured out how professional they were when they (police in general not this jurisdiction necessarily or specifically) refused to storm a school and take out an active shooter, instead causing more children to die because they were afraid and too busy talking on their phones, that were covered in Punisher logos.

Not seriously injured though - the cops missed the mark, in a hospital setting. Amazing.

As soon as I saw his photo I knew he’d be a white supremacist.

    ETA:

The third injured corrections officer also sustained non-life-threatening injuries when a responding officer — incorrectly believing the shooter was still in the emergency room and seeing an armed person near the entrance — opened fire.

    Maybe don’t be so trigger-happy.
