I grow and dry my own herbs, jar the whole leaves, and grind them as needed. It does help.
I am always put off a bit when I notice nutmeg where it doesn’t belong, like in chili. I love it in fall sweets and maybe on roasted squash but that’s about it.
It does. It’s kinda funny, waking up an hour early to lift weights makes me feel better for days. I get sleepy earlier but I have more energy during the day.
Long distance cardio is tiring but it feels good after and life stuff is easier to handle with that endurance.
Leftovers or salami+cheese+almonds. It’s yummy, satisfying, and can survive a few hours out of the fridge.
Only poop goes in the butt. I’m not putting it near my mouth like I wood my hands. If I am going to eat ass I want it washed first.
I don’t really want to towell off my butt after I poop. Wet wipes do the trick and I need way less paper.
Edit: downvoted by the bidet brigade. I tried not to come off as offensive but I guess it’s always a risk when sharing an unpopular opinion.
Perspective. You were a kid in the 80s and they looked way old. Now you’re in your 40s and those little whippersnappers look like the babies they are.
They call it PDSA or PDCA, plan do study/check act. They taught me how to make realistic plans, ways to execute and track the execution, ways and metrics to evaluate success, and then how to modify the plan and try again. This is analogous to hypothesis testing in science.
Usually All. I started that way to find more communities to sub but then got in the habit. Even with a healthy list of subs I still feel a bit limited on subscribed, see more activity on all.
This is a very brief summary of my 2 year MBA: business school is the scientific method applied to business.
No TV, radio, highways. Avoid things with ads and seek things without.Take the back way to your local library for free media. No movie theaters, no public transport, no cities, lots of DIY.
Heat, salt, fat, acid. Technique matters more than secret ingredients.
Using low and slow or high and fast where appropriate depending on the goal. Plenty of fat and salt on everything, and a little acid to brighten up the dish.
I am also curious how she is at all relevant to this. I guess she may bring some awareness to the issue via her eponymous effect.
Or the same 6 months.
Yellow is a happy orange!
Insulation and conduction are opposites. Vacuum (empty space) and stagnant air are great insulators, that’s how double walled bottles insulate.
Aluminum conducts heat quickly for the same reason it conducts electricity well. It has a relatively low heat capacity too so it doesn’t take much energy to heat or cool it so it will more quickly heat or cool its contents.
Toss that alu can in the freezer to cool it quickly, then put it in an insulated colster to keep it cold.
That is simultaneously shitty and awesome! Glad you got some memories and supported a good cause.

What I love about my Garmin is it does all it does without a subscription. I’ve looked at oura, whoop, and withings and they all need a subscription for full functionality. It seems Garmin bakes that cost into the device price, so you pay more up front but also get what you pay for.
My Venu 2 is awesome. Sleep, stress, body battery, vO2max, and almost any activity I do including hike, bike, snowshoe, snowboard, paddle board, disc golf. The battery lasts 5-10 days depending on how much GPS I use.
It has a few smart features but the above is more important to me.
