Trump said on his Truth Social page that he is ready for a debate with Biden "anytime, anywhere, anyplace."

One wants to install a real fascist state for the first day of their second term. The other not.

        Keep repeating this.

One will pardon every convicted felon from January 6th. The other… will continue to keep them in jail.

        Totally the same!

I doubt that. Trump will only pardon people for whom there is an economic advantage for him to do so.

There is an advantage to signaling to your extremist followers that you will shield them from consequences, so they can do their worst with impunity.

That’s how dictatorships work. And there’s an economic advantage to being a dictator.

But he already played that up and left people out to dry in his 2016 campaign

J6 insurrectionists already hoped/expected Trump to issue pardons before he left office

But the same crowd still support him. So he knows already knows he doesn’t have to protect them. He pardoned a bunch of 2016 campaign insiders because they were a liability to him if the decided to turn on him. So I genuinely don’t think he will pardon anybody where there’s not a clear quid pro quo of how it directly benefits him.

They should debate so people can understand that they are not the same despite some people repeating it over and over again as if they can convince other people.

not repeating over and over again

suffering through the Democrat/Republican rule over and over again worse every year

and every time a glimmer of hope shines through we have the corporate parties to shut it out

remember when the two parties chained a presidential candidate to a chair because they were afraid of someone else on the debate floor

elections have turned into a political soap opera with two people bashing each other

    Biden doesn’t want a debate.

    And trump doesn’t either.

So they’re both going to say they’re willing but can’t because of ______.

Last election I’m pretty sure was the first in modern history we didn’t get the standard 3, I’ll be surprised if we get 1 this time.

I’m pretty sure Biden does want a debate. He’s been intentionally pushing Trump’s buttons for a minute now.

He would be ecstatic if he could get Trump to sundown during a debate, which is likely why Trump’s handlers won’t let him do it.

          Dementia symptoms becoming visible.

          What is sundowning?

Sometimes you might see changes in the person’s behaviour in the later afternoon or towards the end of the day. During this time the person may become intensely distressed, agitated and have hallucinations or delusions. This may continue into the night, making it hard for them to get enough sleep.

This is sometimes known as ‘sundowning’ but is not necessarily linked to the sun setting or limited to the end of the day. Sundowning can happen at any stage of dementia but is more common during the middle stage and later stages.

Put them both in soundproof booths and only turn on their microphones when it’s their turn to actually respond to a question.

It has seemed like the painfully obvious solution for years to simply have both mics powered off until and unless it’s time for that candidate to speak.

If they get 30 seconds, after 30 seconds, the timer cuts the power again.

why would anybody tolerate that? I wouldn’t. if my mic got cut after 30 seconds, I would kick over my podium and grab the moderator’s mic.

And that means you wouldn’t make a very good president.
